When was the last time you had so much fun you completely lost track of time?
We're talking laughing-until-your-stomach-hurts fun. Getting ridiculously competitive over something that absolutely doesn't matter. Staying up way later than you planned. Making inside jokes that make no sense to anyone else.
We're bringing that feeling back — with weekends for women to come completely on their own, do something a little different, have a genuinely great time and meet a whole bunch of women along the way.
When do we ever really get the chance to do that as adults?
Making new friends as an adult is weirdly hard. There aren't many opportunities to meet people who are genuinely open to new friendships. We meet people in passing, have nice conversations, then everyone heads home and life carries on.
The get-involved kind. The kind where you forget about everything else and stop checking your phone for a while because you're too busy having the best time.
The kind where you forget about work, the washing, the emails and the general pressure of life because you're completely caught up in the moment.
The BIG weekend
The Weekend We Met
Remember school camp?
Games. Challenges. Team adventures. Music. Firepits. Late-night chats. A little healthy competition. A lot of laughing.
Things you haven't done in years. Probably a few things you've never done before. And a whole bunch of women who are there for exactly the same reason: to have fun and meet some new people.
Big fun. New friends. A weekend you'll be talking about for years.
Gatherwell is a smaller, slower weekend away for women who want to pause, unwind and connect in a more relaxed setting. Bringing together small groups of 10–14 women, Gatherwell takes place in beautiful country homes where the pace is calm, the food is good and there is plenty of time for real conversation.
These weekends are thoughtfully organised but never overly structured. You can expect shared meals, local experiences, slow mornings, cosy spaces, long chats and gentle moments to simply enjoy being away. It is perfect for women who want to meet new people, but prefer something more intimate and less busy.
Come on your own and settle in with a small group of women who are also open to connection. By the end of the weekend, there is a good chance it will feel like you have known each other for much longer.
Everyone else is doing it too.
Which means no friendship groups to break into. No wondering whether everyone already knows each other. No awkward “who am I supposed to talk to?” You just turn up. Say hi. Get involved. And see what happens. Because some of the best friendships happen when you weren't looking for them. You just happened to be in the same place. At the same time. So why not make that place a really, really good weekend?
Maybe you'll meet someone you instantly click with. Maybe you'll end up with a whole new group of friends. Maybe you'll book another weekend together before this one is even over.
“How do you all know each other?”
“That was the Weekend We Met.”
